Founded over 40 years ago in Jacksonville by Ken, a Jacksonville native with deep roots in the community, Coastal Atlantic has grown from humble beginnings into a trusted name in high-end custom home construction and commercial development. Ken's passion for building began early, influenced by his grandfather, a skilled builder, and his uncle, a timber company owner. From summers spent learning the trade to starting his own business while still in college, Ken has always been driven by a commitment to quality.
Today, Ken and his son, John William Massey—named after Ken's grandfather—continue this legacy, bringing over 40 years of experience to every project. We hired Coastal Atlantic to build an addition after meeting with many contractors. This addition was incorporating a 1952 ranch with a larger garage, lanai and master suite with balcony. Ken Massey was very professional and had a great demeanor. He understood what we wanted and revamped the drawings to fit our budget and needs.
Everything went like clockwork and after the work was completed- I would highly recommend his services. The remodel was even nicer than we expected and even our friends (in the construction business) have commented that the contractor did a great job. The crew was a pleasure to be around and worked very hard.
